Coles relaunches free Schott Zwiesel glassware promotion for at-home entertaining season
Shoppers can earn credits from Sept. 17 by scanning Flybuys on $20-plus transactions to redeem seven European-made Schott Zwiesel pieces

Coles has reintroduced its free Schott Zwiesel European glassware collectables promotion, giving customers the opportunity to earn credits toward designer glassware during the southern-hemisphere summer entertaining season.
The promotion begins Sept. 17 and runs for earning credits until Jan. 6, with redemptions available through Jan. 13. Shoppers at Coles supermarkets and Liquorland can earn a glassware credit every time they spend $20 or more in a single transaction, in store or online, by scanning a registered Flybuys card. Balances can be checked via the Flybuys app, online or printed on the bottom of Coles and Liquorland receipts.
The 2025 collection expands on the retailer’s earlier offerings from 2022 and comprises seven pieces: short tumblers, large tumblers, champagne flutes, white wine glasses, red wine glasses, gin and tonic glasses, and a carafe. All items are made in Europe using Schott Zwiesel’s Tritan® glass protection technology and are sold in sets of two when redeemed.
Each piece requires a specific number of credits to redeem for free, or a smaller number of credits plus a cash top-up. Short tumblers (set of two) are redeemable free with 22 credits or with 11 credits plus $11; large tumblers free with 26 credits or 13 credits plus $13; champagne flutes free with 32 credits or 16 credits plus $16; white wine glasses free with 36 credits or 18 credits plus $18; red wine glasses free with 36 credits or 18 credits plus $18; gin and tonic glasses free with 40 credits or 20 credits plus $20; and the carafe free with 48 credits or 24 credits plus $24.
Coles said customers can fast-track collections through bonus glassware credits available on more than 1,500 Coles and Liquorland products. Participating brands include Barilla, Earthwise, Nescafe, Glad and Jacobs Creek, alongside Coles own-label items such as Coles Finest, Smithy’s, Loch Lomond and Canard-Duchêne.
Coles Chief Customer and Digital Officer Michael Courtney said the promotion is timed for summer gatherings and festive celebrations and allows customers to access European designer glassware through routine grocery shopping. “Whether you’re toasting with Champagne, savouring a bold Cabernet over dinner, or mixing cocktails in the backyard, our latest collection offers the perfect glass for every occasion,” he said.
The offer comes amid research from Coles indicating that about one in four Australians prefer to enjoy a drink at home rather than going out. The supermarket also reported that classic cocktails such as Margaritas, Mojitos and Gin & Tonics ranked among the nation’s favourite homemade drinks.
The Schott Zwiesel collectables program gives shoppers the option to add to sets purchased during previous Coles promotions or begin a new collection. Customers interested in participating should ensure their Flybuys account is registered and scanned at each eligible transaction to accumulate credits toward redemption before the specified cut-off dates.
