Alien: Earth Season 1 finale premieres Sept. 23 on FX and Hulu

FX's Alien: Earth will close its first season with Episode 8, 'The Real Monsters,' airing tonight, Sept. 23, 2025. The eight‑episode run reimagines the Alien franchise by sending a ship carrying five different aliens to crash on a corporate‑controlled Earth, where Boy Kavalier — played by Samuel Blenkin — commands a team of hybrids, children whose psyches have been uploaded into synthetic bodies, to round up the intruders. So far this season, Wendy, played by Sydney Chandler, has tamed a Xenomorph; a Fly devoured a hybrid named Tootles; and an Eye has taken control of a sheep. The finale is expected to intensify these threats and push Wendy and the Lost Boys toward a confrontation that could redefine the fates of those characters and the world they inhabit.

FX and Hulu will stream the Season 1 finale at 8 p.m. ET. On FX, the episode is set for 8 p.m. ET or 8 p.m. PT, with Hulu making the episode available worldwide at 8 p.m. ET. The eight‑episode arc began Aug. 12 with Episode 1, 'Neverland,' and Episode 2, 'Mr. October,' on the same date, then continued with Episode 3 on Aug. 19 ('Metamorphosis'), Episode 4 on Aug. 26 ('Observation'), Episode 5 on Sept. 2 ('In Space, No One…'), Episode 6 on Sept. 9 ('The Fly'), and Episode 7 on Sept. 16 ('Emergence').

FX has not announced a second season for Alien: Earth as of this writing.

Fans can watch on FX via cable, YouTube TV, Fubo, or Sling TV, and can stream on Hulu. For new Hulu subscribers, the basic plan with ads offers a 30‑day free trial; after that, the price is $9.99 per month. The ad‑free plan runs $18.99 per month. Disney Bundle options, which include Hulu with or without ads, start at $10.99 per month and can go up to $29.99 per month for bundles that include Disney+ and Max.

The series stars Sydney Chandler as Wendy, Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, Alex Lawther as Hermit, Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier, Babou Ceesay as Morrow, Kit Young as Tootles, and Diêm as Siberian Moe, among others. The ensemble blends established TV regulars with rising performers, as Hawley shepherds a sprawling, borderless interpretation of the familiar franchise tropes while shifting the settings toward a symbolic Neverland where the stakes extend beyond a single ship or planet.
