Alix Earle reveals brutal DWTS injuries as Week 2 looms
Influencer-turned-dancer shares bruised collarbone and missing toenail from rehearsals as she braces for Week 2's jive on Dancing With the Stars.

Alix Earle revealed her brutal Dancing With the Stars injuries in a TikTok video over the weekend, showing a bruised collarbone and a missing toenail after a tense rehearsal ahead of Tuesday’s One-Hit Wonders Night. “I don’t think I can walk,” the 24-year-old influencer quipped as she got unready following the session. She teased that Week 2 would feature tricks she isn’t sure she can do, a jive to “Mambo No. 5” by Lou Bega, and said she would push through to complete it by next Tuesday.
“Week 1 was hard, the stamina, the stuff we’re doing,” Earle said, adding that she’s starting to doubt herself but intends to keep going. “I feel like someone put me in a drying machine and just bruised and beat up every part of my body.” She even joked that she might have one of her younger sisters massage her hip flexors. The post underscored the steep physical toll of DWTS in the early weeks of Season 34 as she pushes toward Week 2.
She described drastic lifestyle changes due to the schedule, explaining that the intense DWTS routine has up-ended her social media habits and daily life. “This has just become my everything. I’ve completely changed my entire life schedule,” she said, noting that she goes to bed early and has limited time for anything beyond dancing and training.
Earlier this year, Earle announced she would be joining DWTS for Season 34, telling Good Morning America that the opportunity felt surreal and that she has long admired the show. She and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy opened the season with a cha cha to Britney Spears’ “Circus,” earning one of the night’s higher scores and signaling a strong start despite the physical costs.
On the social-media front, Earle remains one of the platform’s most-followed stars, with more than 7.5 million followers on TikTok and 4.3 million on Instagram. She rose to fame through Get Ready With Me–style videos while a student at the University of Miami, and she is viewed by many Gen Z fans as a top contender for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with new episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.
