Amanda de Cadenet's eldest daughter, Atlanta, 33, has married singer David Macklovitch in a private courthouse ceremony at Brooklyn Court House after seven years together.

Atlanta posted a collection of Instagram snaps from the day, including images of herself and Macklovitch after exchanging vows and of their dog wearing a matching bow tie, with the bride in a Chanel-inspired wedding dress and veil and the groom in a sharp black tuxedo.

The couple's engagement was announced in January 2020, and they had been together for about seven years. Amanda shared the posts on her own account and celebrated the moment, writing that Atlanta is now a married woman and that Macklovitch is officially her son-in-law.

David Macklovitch is best known as one half of the electro-funk duo Chromeo, and the wedding marks a high-profile milestone for a family that has long been in the public eye for its creative work.

Amanda de Cadenet rose to prominence in the 1990s as a television presenter, fronting The Word and The Big Breakfast before relocating to America in 1992. In Los Angeles she expanded her career into fashion and portrait photography and has collaborated with major publications such as Harper's Bazaar, Jane, and Spin. She is also an author, with books including Rare Birds, The Watchers, and It's Messy: Essays on Boys, Boobs, and BFFs, as well as a photography collection titled #girlgaze: How Girls See the World.

In recent interviews, de Cadenet has discussed Keanu Reeves as part of her extended family, saying he helped restore her faith in men and remains a private, supportive figure despite the fame surrounding him. She has described Reeves as friendly and authentic, striking a balance between celebrity and privacy.

Her personal history includes marriages to John Taylor, the Duran Duran bassist, in the early 1990s, and later to Nick Valensi of The Strokes in 2006. She has a daughter, Atlanta, with Taylor and twins Ella and Silvan, now 18, with Valensi. Reeves reportedly took a sabbatical from the Strokes to be a present father, an anecdote often cited in profiles of the couple. The family dynamic has been a recurring theme in de Cadenet's public storytelling, spanning television, photography, and literature, and the latest wedding adds another chapter to a career and life characterized by collaboration and public engagement.
