Bad Boyfriends star breaks down as Olivia Attwood exposes boyfriend’s true intentions

A Bad Boyfriends episode on ITV2 Thursday ended with a star breaking down in tears after host Olivia Attwood exposed her boyfriend's true intentions. The show, now in its second series, centers on Attwood reforming eight unsuspecting bad boyfriends by having their girlfriends undercover on a big night out, according to ITVX's synopsis.

Shay, 33, and Miles, 33, have been together five years. Shay wants marriage; Miles is less keen. A clip shown on the episode featured Miles speaking to fellow cast members Akonne and Anthony about waiting another two to three years to tie the knot. As Shay watched, the moment sunk in that they were on different pages. In a later, emotional chat, Miles told the cameras, 'I'd like to think I'd like to get through to Shay, but if I can't... what can I do? I'm ready to just lay everything out on the table, tell her how I truly feel.' During the couple's talk, Miles asked, 'How are you feeling?' Shay began to cry before answering. 'We've been together five years and then to just have it all crumble in front of your face, it's a lot. I don't think I can do this, I can't go another five years doing this.' Miles cried again and the pair hugged at the end of their chat, eventually leaving the show just before the finale.


This episode continues a season that has also featured Ellie facing a devastating blow after her boyfriend Dan was revealed to have cheated on her in a years-long pattern. In a jaw-dropping sequence, Dan was shown cheating while away from home, and later he claimed he was single.
