Bindi Irwin crashes brother Robert's Dancing With The Stars US rehearsal with Witney Carson
Irwin family moment unfolds as Robert opens up about dating status after tango

Bindi Irwin surprised her brother Robert Irwin during a Dancing With The Stars US rehearsal on Friday, joining him and his dance partner Witney Carson for a light-hearted family moment. Photos shared on Instagram show Bindi, 27, and her husband Chandler Powell posing with Robert, 21, and Carson in the studio, smiling for the camera as they huddled for a selfie. "Bring your sister to work day!" Robert captioned the post. Bindi commented: "...and realise she has no idea about TikTok trends," hinting at an inside joke. Witney Carson, 31, added: "Truly love this family!"
Robert's visit comes amid ongoing chatter about his relationship status after another strong performance on DWTS. The tango earned praise from the judges on Tuesday. In a post-dance interview with E! News, Robert said he is still single. "We are still looking for the American girl," he said, adding that Witney had been helping in his quest with his sister. "Well you have to go through kind of a screening process, so submit your applications through my DMs and then I will forward them to Bindi, and then we'll see about the American tourist," Witney teased. Witney then warned: "And you'll be single forever," which elicited a groan from Robert. Robert also noted his focus on character, saying: "I think more than anything else, just genuine kindness. That’s so important, to surround yourself with people who are genuinely kind."
During the rehearsal, the sultry tango with Carson was a standout, a world away from Robert’s usual affable persona. Mid-routine the duo slipped into retro nods to the early 2000s, including a robot, before finishing with hip-hop moves that drew laughter from the crowd. The audience included Robert's mother Terri and sister Bindi, who watched as the judges offered a mix of praise and critique. Carrie Ann Inaba gave an 8, while Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli each scored 7 for a total of 22 out of 30, keeping Robert and Carson near the top of the leaderboard.
The moment underscored the close-knit Irwin family’s involvement in the DWTS season and the ongoing public conversation about Robert’s dating life as the competition continues.
