Brooklyn Beckham Breaks Silence on Beckham Family Feud

Brooklyn Beckham addressed ongoing rumors of a feud within his famous family for the first time, telling the Daily Mail on Wednesday that he is focusing on his wife and his own life. Speaking at the Ryder Cup All-Star match at Bethpage Black in New York, the 26-year-old said there will always be negative talk, but he and Nicola Peltz are 'happy' and simply keep their heads down and work.

He said he 'never' worries about what people think about his personal life, and that he was grateful for the support of his wife. 'There’s always going to be people saying rubbish,' he said. 'I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun.' He described the Ryder Cup format, noting that he teamed with NBA star Toni Kukoc against Colin Jost and Eli Manning, and that Team USA won. 'I feel like they didn’t like me at all,' he said of the New York crowd, 'but it was amazing.' 'They gave me a bit of rubbish, but I kind of expected it – being in New York, going against Eli – they were just laughing.' He added, 'But it is what it is. I was having fun out there. I did the best I could. It was honestly just really fun.'

Beckham said he would not be staying long, noting that his father’s Inter Miami club played in New York that night but that he needed to return to Los Angeles to support Peltz and tend to their four dogs, before getting back to work.

Rumors of a rift date to disputes around Brooklyn and Nicola’s Palm Beach wedding in April 2022 and escalated after they skipped David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in May. Reports have circulated that Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girl, allegedly made Peltz cry by hijacking the couple’s first dance, and that tensions between Brooklyn and his brother Romeo intensified when Romeo began dating Kim Turnbull. Insiders told Us Weekly that Brooklyn and Peltz declined David’s London party because they could not be in the same room as Romeo and Turnbull, and that Romeo and Turnbull later split in June amid the strain.

Public signs of a thaw emerged this year as Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows on Aug. 2, 2025, without the rest of the Beckham clan in attendance. A People magazine report described the private ceremony as a tribute to the couple’s continued commitment, while a social-media post noted that David Beckham liked one of Brooklyn’s Instagram updates in a small gesture of reconciliation.

Together, the family remains in the public eye as they balance high-profile careers with personal lives. For Brooklyn, the Ryder Cup appearance offered a rare moment to push back against the surrounding chatter while staying focused on his marriage and work.
