Brownlow Night mystery woman revealed: Joanne Schorback on Des Tuddenham's arm

Melbourne events manager Joanne Schorback has been identified as the woman who turned heads at Monday's Brownlow Medal count by arriving on the arm of AFL Hall of Famer Des Tuddenham, 82. The revelation comes amid a swirl of romance speculation around the pair and drew attention away from a red carpet lineup that included seasoned regulars and younger onlookers at AFL's night of nights.

Schorback wore a see-through gown by Alamour The Label that left little to the imagination, with her bra and underwear visible between strategically placed crystals and beading. The gown, described by the brand as designed to make an entrance, is the Andrea Gown and was priced at about $799. "I actually had a skirt to wear underneath, but it was too long - it kind of distorted the dress," Schorback told the Daily Mail on Tuesday. "If I was in my 20s or 30s I would have worn a g-string."

She said Tuddenham is her neighbor; They met at the local hotel pub in Port Melbourne and have known each other for a few years. "He's actually my neighbour. We met at the local hotel pub in Port Melbourne and have known each other for a few years," she said. This wasn't their first red carpet appearance together; Tuddenham has escorted her to a Hall of Fame before and he wanted to take me to the Brownlow, you can't turn Des down," she laughed.

She noted AFL ties: She comes from a family with deep connections; her uncle Doug Wade played with Geelong and North Melbourne. "So that's another funny connection," she said. The show-stopping gown is described by the brand as "designed to make an entrance" and features beads that cascade down its entirety, adding a touch of glamour to the daring design.

At the afterparty at Nobu inside Crown Casino, Schorback said she danced until 2:30 a.m. and that the night carried on beyond the red carpet. "I haven't been out dancing for a long time, so I was making the most of that," she said. "I definitely came home though…Des went to his house and I went to my house."

Despite the buzz online, Schorback dismissed suggestions of a Brownlow romance. "I was sitting around the Legends area, like the older group with their wives, and they were all very lovely," she said. "But no, nobody gave me their phone number."
