Courtney Stodden underwent what appeared to be another rhinoplasty, leaving a Beverly Hills plastic surgery office in a wheelchair with a large bandage around her nose. The 31-year-old reality TV figure was driven home by her husband, Jared Safier, after a visit to Dr. Gary Motykie’s Beverly Hills practice. She wore a mint-green silk robe and brown sandals, with bleach-blond hair pulled into a messy ponytail and kept cool with a handheld fan as she exited the clinic.

Photographs captured her departure on Wednesday, showing swelling around her eyes and a puffy nose beneath the bandage. Safier was seen kissing her on the head before they headed to a car, and the couple were later photographed talking inside the vehicle before driving away.

Dr. Motykie is described on his website as a board-certified plastic surgeon with specialized expertise in rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. Stodden’s latest appearance aligns with a long public record of facial procedures; she previously underwent a rhinoplasty in 2016 to address a bump and breathing issues, performed by Dr. Robert Kotler in Beverly Hills. Along with the nose work, Stodden has discussed a breast augmentation performed in 2013 when she was 18, and she has admitted to lip fillers and porcelain veneers.

In interviews surrounding the earlier nose procedure, Stodden explained that the surgery was motivated by self-consciousness about the bump on the side of her nose and concerns about her appearance on red carpets. She has said she is open to additional cosmetic work in the future, but not imminently, noting she wants to let gravity do its work before pursuing further changes.

The latest outing comes as Stodden has spoken publicly about her personal journey away from alcohol. Last month, she celebrated what she described as her first sober birthday as an adult, telling Daily Mail that she feels “incredible” about reaching 31 without alcohol and looking forward to a healthier future. “Alcohol was my escape for years, but it turned into a trap,” she added, describing sobriety as a pivotal step in leaving behind a version of herself she no longer recognizes. The singer-turned-reality star said she would not drink again just to please friends, emphasizing a commitment to sobriety as part of her ongoing path forward.

Stodden’s public life has long intertwined with questions about age, fame and personal choices. She rose to national attention after marrying actor Doug Hutchison when she was 16, a pairing that drew scrutiny and later ended in divorce in 2020. Her mother has publicly regretted permitting the teen marriage, a factor that has fueled ongoing discussions about her journey in the public eye. In recent years, Stodden has continued to share updates about her sobriety and personal growth, while navigating coverage of her cosmetic decisions and their impact on her public persona. The Daily Mail story notes her ongoing use of social media to document milestones in her sober journey, and her supporters have praised her for prioritizing health and well-being as she moves forward.
