D4vd Australia festival appearance canceled amid murder investigation
Spilt Milk cancels the US rapper’s set as authorities probe the death of a 15-year-old girl linked to a car registered in the singer’s name.

US singer D4vd's performances at Spilt Milk festival in Ballarat, Australia, have been canceled after authorities found the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez in the trunk of a Tesla registered to him. Organisers said they removed the artist from their website and marketing last week as the murder investigation unfolded, and confirmed he will not perform at Spilt Milk; a replacement booking will be announced when finalized.
D4vd, 20, became linked to the case after police found Hernandez's body in the trunk of the impounded vehicle during a Los Angeles investigation earlier this month. Authorities raided the musician's Hollywood Hills home last Thursday as part of the probe. The singer has cooperated with investigators and has not been charged.
Separately, D4vd canceled the remainder of his U.S. tour, with TMZ reporting the last two shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles were scrapped. He also skipped a planned event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on Wednesday, though he remains scheduled to perform in Norway on Oct. 1.
His music label also canceled the release of a deluxe version of his album Withered and halted other promotional appearances.
A recent photograph circulating online shows Hernandez with D4vd at a venue; if alive she would be 15 this year. The investigation has drawn attention to the circumstances surrounding the case and the broader scrutiny of the artist's public profile.
Spilt Milk's December lineup is set to include headliners Kendrick Lamar and Doechii, with performances across Ballarat, Perth, Canberra and the Gold Coast as organizers search for a replacement act for D4vd.
