Dancing With the Stars Season 34 Episode 2 premieres on ABC and Disney+ Sept. 23
Season 34 continues weekly live episodes on ABC and Disney+, with streaming on Hulu the next day.

Dancing With the Stars has returned for its 34th season, with Episode 2 scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23, as the show again airs live on ABC and Disney+. The season kicked off on Sept. 16 with a high-energy opening and a celebrity lineup that includes Danielle Fishel, Hilaria Baldwin, Andy Richter, Elaine Hendrix, Alix Earle, Baron Davis, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, Corey Feldman, Robert Irwin, Scott Hoying, Jen Affleck, Lauren Jauregui and Whitney Leavitt.
The second episode, titled One-Hit Wonders Night, continues the two-hour format, with a throwback opening number to Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) by C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams, choreographed by Emma Slater. Contestants will perform partner dances across the Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Jive, Quickstep, Samba and Tango, with troupe performances to I Like To Move It and Lady (Hear Me Tonight). The show remains a weekly Tuesday event, broadcast live on Disney+ and ABC, with Hulu carrying next-day streaming.
Season 34 marks the return of judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli at the judging table, while Carrie Ann Inaba was not on the first night due to illness. The absence was noted by observers, with Inaba expected to be back soon.
Season 33’s Mirrorball Trophy winner Joey Graziadei and his pro partner Jenna Johnson delivered the previous season’s finale, and this year’s cast has a new lineup of stars, including Danielle Fishel, Hilaria Baldwin, Andy Richter, Elaine Hendrix, Alix Earle, Baron Davis, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, Corey Feldman, Robert Irwin, Scott Hoying, Jen Affleck, Lauren Jauregui, and Whitney Leavitt.
Release schedules for Dancing With the Stars indicate new episodes are planned to air weekly on Tuesdays through late November. Disney+ will stream the episodes live at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, with Hulu carrying the next-day availability. Some release notes conflict on episode count: notes circulating with the release say Season 34 will consist of 10 episodes, while an episode-by-episode guide lists 11 installments, with the finale set for November 25.
The program remains a staple of ABC’s fall lineup, and the pairing of the famous ballroom with a streaming presence continues to appeal to fans who want to watch live and then catch up on Hulu the next day.
