David Beckham hits Milan for BOSS show as Brooklyn faces Ryder Cup humiliation in New York

David Beckham attended the BOSS show in Milan on Thursday, adding another creative line to his portfolio as he unveiled the second chapter of his collaboration with the brand. The outing comes as his estranged son Brooklyn Beckham, 26, appears to be leaning into his father's signature look, growing a rugged beard that has social media buzzing.

Brooklyn's Ryder Cup celebrity match in New York drew attention for his performance and reception. He played for Europe alongside former basketball star Toni Kukoč against Eli Manning and Colin Jost for the United States. Spectators at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale mocked Brooklyn for his 'lack of talent' during the first round of the celebrity playoffs. The event underscored the diverging paths of the father and son. Even if they were on speaking terms, David Beckham would have been in Milan to promote his BOSS line rather than watching his son.

At Milan, Beckham stepped out in a fashion-forward look, sharing a shirtless balcony snap captioned: 'Buongiorno Milano ❤️ I promise I'm wearing BOSS @boss'. Later in the day, he cut a dapper figure in a brown velvet blazer and tailored trousers as he joined Hugo Boss' CEO, Daniel Grieder, at the runway show and appeared in high spirits in the front row for the Women's Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

Beckham's return to the Milan catwalk coincided with the brand's ongoing rollout of his BECKHAM x BOSS capsule, alongside the BOSS ONE Bodywear line. The collection features sleek suits, bomber jackets, polos, T-shirts and accessories designed to reflect his personal style, and the campaign was shot by Mert and Marcus. The styling is described as a natural evolution of the first collaboration, with a focus on textures and modernity, as the campaign unfurls across murals in East London and billboards in global cities, store installations and pop-ups. The front row at the show included notable guests such as Corey Mylchreest and Ishaan Khattar, among others, as a host of A-listers attended the event.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn Beckham, who has pursued football, modelling, photography, F1 racing and cooking in recent years, did not join his father in Milan. The Ryder Cup appearance and the social reaction to his performance stood in contrast to David’s ongoing fashion work. The younger Beckham, who turned 26 this month, has kept a low public profile regarding his relationship with his father, which has drawn media interest in recent years.

Romeo Beckham, 23, also offered a social-media glimpse of his life, sharing mirror selfies on Instagram Story, including a shot from a white vest and another showcasing his chest and tattoos. The family dynamic remains complex, with professional paths pulling in different directions: David continues to expand his fashion footprint with BOSS, while Brooklyn explores a broader portfolio of creative ventures without pursuing golf professionally at this time.
