Munich — Heidi Klum and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, arrived at Munich’s Theresienwiese to help open the city’s 190th Oktoberfest, the two-week beer festival that is a centerpiece of Bavarian culture. Dressed in traditional attire, the couple mingled with guests as the fairgrounds filled with music, rides and the scent of pretzels and beer.

Klum wore a variation of the traditional dirndl, pairing a red-toned bodice with a layered skirt and a floral headpiece. Kaulitz wore lederhosen with knee-high socks and a waistcoat as they joined a group of friends for a night of revelry at Käfer-Wiesn-Schänke, the festival hall.

Also in attendance were Boris Becker's daughter Anna Ermakova and her mother, Angela Ermakova. Anna, 25, wore a blue silk dress with a sleeveless detail and a cinched waist, while Angela chose a deep red version of the same style. Anna's appearance came alongside the former tennis star's ex-wife Lilly Becker, who stood out in an embellished ivory dress as she posed for photos with other festival-goers.

Hayley Hasselhoff, daughter of actor David Hasselhoff, also drew attention at the event’s launch, arriving in a red ensemble with a corset-style top and fur trim that echoed Oktoberfest’s traditional aesthetic. Her look included a layered skirt, a red leather handbag and dark, smoky makeup as she posed for photographers ahead of the open-day parade.

Oktoberfest is a two-week festival that began on Saturday, Sept. 20, and runs through Oct. 5, attracting millions of visitors from around the world each year. The opening weekend featured performances, beer stalls and the familiar carnival atmosphere that has long defined Munich’s most famous celebration. The 190th edition comes as Heidi Klum, who has hosted HeidiFest in the weeks leading up to the festival, continues to blend fashion headlines with the city’s cultural centerpiece.

For Klum, the Munich return came after a period living in the United States with Kaulitz and their family, underscoring how the festival remains a nexus for international stars and local tradition alike. Festival organizers emphasize the event’s long history, dating back to 1810, when the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen inspired the first celebrations that would grow into today’s massive fairground spectacle.
