Hilaria Baldwin lands in DWTS bottom three as One-Hit Wonders Night ends in double elimination
Corey Feldman and Baron Davis exit as Hilaria Baldwin advances; backstage tensions and ratings context accompany Tuesday’s episode.

Dancing with the Stars’ 34th season pressed on Tuesday with One-Hit Wonders Night, culminating in a double elimination that kept the competition tightly packed and the audience talking. Hilaria Baldwin, 41, found herself in the bottom three but survived to dance another week, while Corey Feldman, 54, and Baron Davis, 46, were sent home after receiving the lowest scores of the night.
The evening featured a slate of dances built around songs by artists known for a single iconic hit, with couples performing styles ranging from the Cha-Cha to the Tango. Hilaria Baldwin took the ballroom stage late in the show for a tango with her partner Gleb Savchenko to Haddaway’s What Is Love, a moment she described before stepping onto the floor as a dream come true. Afterward, she acknowledged the personal toll of balancing seven children with the demanding schedule, saying her body was tired and that she felt pulled in multiple directions, but that the experience remained meaningful. The judges rewarded her effort with a 7 from each of the three judges, for a total of 21 out of 30.
Feldman danced the cha cha with Jenna Johnson to Sir Mix-a-Lot’s Baby Got Back and received a 5 from each judge, for a total of 15 out of 30. He told Johnson afterward that she deserved better, saying she had been “the queen from last year” and that she deserved to be the champ. Davis, paired with Britt Stewart, delivered a performance that earned a 6 from each judge, totaling 18, before his elimination was announced along with Feldman’s. The two departures marked the show’s second week of results, following last week’s premiere, in which no couples were eliminated but producers signaled a double exit would occur in week two.
Other performances highlighted the night included Alix Earle dancing the jive to Mambo No. 5 with Val Chmerkovskiy and Carrie Ann Inaba’s return to the judging desk after missing the premiere due to illness. Earle expressed confidence about her recent leaderboard position and the chance to unleash a more competitive side of herself, while Inaba’s return helped round out a panel that also included Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli. The episode’s scoring continued to reflect a mix of strengths and vulnerabilities across the cast, with several contestants showing notable growth since the season began.
The cast for the season’s next phase was clarified after the elimination, with stars including Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Jordan Chiles, Elaine Hendrix, Scott Hoying, Dylan Efron, Andy Richter, Danielle Fishel, and Lauren Jauregui now in the lineup. The show’s production has faced public chatter about backstage tensions as the season has progressed, though producers have emphasized ongoing competition and growth among participants.
Backstage chatter surrounding the format and celebrity participation has also drawn scrutiny. An insider told the Daily Mail that this season has felt like a “s--t show” at times, alleging some celebrities are not fully committed and that producers have had to scramble to fill gaps after a dropout. The network’s public-facing messaging, however, has continued to stress the show’s competitive spirit and entertainment value.
Ratings context remains favorable for DWTS. The Season 33 finale posted 6.36 million Live+Same Day viewers and rose to 7.95 million after seven days of viewing across ABC, Disney+, Hulu and other platforms, illustrating the show’s ongoing appeal even as it navigates behind-the-scenes challenges. DWTS airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
