Hugh Bonneville and Heidi Kadlecová make rare public appearance at Yard O Led event

Hugh Bonneville and his girlfriend Heidi Kadlecová put on a very loved-up display as they attended the Yard O Led British Historic Pen Revival event in Piccadilly Arcade on Thursday. The Downton Abbey star, 61, looked smart in a corduroy three-piece suit and silk tie, while Kadlecová wore a sophisticated tweed trench coat.

The event brought together a mix of television personalities and cultural figures, with attendees including ITV's Ben Shephard and his wife Annie, presenter Charley Boorman, and Great British Bake Off icon Mary Berry. Bonneville's public romance comes after a long marriage: he split from Lulu Williams, his wife of 25 years, in September 2023. The Daily Mail reported last August that Bonneville had introduced Kadlecová to the Downton Abbey cast on the set of the latest Downton movie. On set for Go Away!, he invited Kadlecová to spend the day on location in Hertfordshire, and observers said his mood brightened in her company.

The couple’s appearance at Yard O Led follows their earlier moments on the film circuit, including the star-studded red carpet for the Downton movie premiere earlier this month. The outing underscores a growing public profile for Bonneville as he continues to work on forthcoming Downton projects and other acting commitments.
