Kelly Brook: 'heartbroken' at thought of husband Jeremy Parisi having children with someone else

Kelly Brook stepped out on Wednesday after discussing motherhood on Loose Women, where she said she would be heartbroken if her husband, Jeremy Parisi, had children with someone else if their relationship didn't work out.

Photographed in a black-and-grey leopard-print blouse with charcoal grey trousers and Chanel sandals, the 46-year-old model and actress finished her look with a black Chanel bag and simple jewellery while beaming for the cameras. On the daytime panel alongside Christine Lampard, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore, Brook discussed family planning and how couples approach having children. “The time has probably run out, I don't know, I just have to get my head around it,” she said, referencing the couple's decision not to have children together after meeting a decade ago when she was 36.

Brook and Parisi, who wed in 2022, have said they chose a calmer life together and were not drawn to the chaos of raising young children. “We made the decision early on that we wouldn't have children, but I can't say I wouldn't be heartbroken,” she added, underscoring the emotional complexity behind their choices while acknowledging the reality that time may be running out for motherhood for some.

The couple first met a decade ago, when Brook was 36, and she said meeting her partner later in life influenced their decision to prioritise a peaceful lifestyle. “We just wanted a nice, peaceful life together,” she explained, noting that neither she nor Jeremy felt drawn to the upheaval often associated with parenting young children.

The episode also featured Penny Lancaster, who spoke about her journey with husband Rod Stewart and their blended family. Lancaster said the pair were upfront early on about family plans: Rod has many children from multiple mothers, and at first he did not want to enter into another marriage with more children. “He said, ‘I'm excited we're in this relationship together but I really don't want to enter into another marriage and have children, I've had a lot of heartache,’” she recalled. She added that it was not until 2004, following a poignant conversation about the lives lost in 9/11, that Rod changed his mind: “Let’s make a baby.” Penny described the blended family as a meaningful gift for their son, and a reminder of the broader implications of family choices.

The program highlighted ongoing conversations about motherhood, personal choice and relationship dynamics in celebrity life, with Brook's remarks contributing to a broader dialogue about how couples navigate expectations, timing and life goals in the public eye.
