Kim Kardashian, Khloé and Kris Jenner Lead NikeSkims NYC Launch in Coordinated Activewear
The first Skims x Nike collaboration is unveiled with a public on-site performance on the steps of the New York Public Library.
NikeSkims, the first collaboration between Skims and Nike, was unveiled Wednesday morning with a Bodies at Work presentation on the steps of the New York Public Library. Kim Kardashian led the display, flanked by sister Khloé Kardashian and momager Kris Jenner, as the trio debuted the sporty range ahead of its Sept. 26 release.
Kim wore a long-sleeved V-neck crop top and high-waisted leggings, topped with an oversized puffer. Khloé wore a short-sleeved mock neck with the same leggings. Kris wore a slim zip-up hoodie and shiny nylon jogger pants. All three finished the look with oversized sunglasses, and Kim completed her outfit with pointed-toe, heeled sock booties. The trio sat in front-row director's chairs to watch the performance.
Behind them, models wore shorts, leggings, sports bras and other pieces from NikeSkims in brown tones, standing in seven lines on the library steps as the music carried for blocks. The collection aligns with the campaign's emphasis on movement and athletes, featuring collaborators including Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles and Chloe Kim.
Kim has had a busy week, with French Vogue revealing her October cover shoot on Friday, in which she posed in bed wearing Cartier diamonds. Inside the magazine, she discusses a renewed sense of confidence and says she no longer relies on others’ opinions for major decisions. The piece signals a shift in the star’s public narrative as she leans into this collaboration with Nike, which emphasizes both performance and everyday wear.
NikeSkims will be available to shop on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 a.m. PT at Skims.com and select Nike and Skims retail locations. The line includes 58 silhouettes in sizes XXS to 4X, with prices ranging from $38 to $148.
The collaboration marks the first time Skims has partnered with Nike, merging shapewear-inspired design with performance gear to create a broad, athletic-lifestyle offering. The event and release underscore the ongoing crossover between celebrity-led fashion and athletic-lifestyle apparel, as brands seek to reach diverse audiences with functional, stylish options.
