Kim Kardashian wows in white two-piece in Italy as Kanye West documentary debuts
Reality star shows off washboard midriff during Italian escape as unauthorized Kanye West film hits screens

Kim Kardashian accentuated her taut tummy and famous curves in a new Instagram post, posting images from an Italian getaway in which she wore a two-piece white Alaïa ensemble. The 44-year-old mogul wandered the streets near Piazza del Duomo while a photographer credited as Charlie Chiu captured the shots. The midriff-baring white top and matching skirt were styled by Danielle Levi, Kardashian’s long-time fashion consultant. In several frames, she carried a bouquet of red roses and captioned the post with a single red rose emoji. Her hair, a glossy jet-black shade, was parted at the middle and styled in waves.
The set of images comes as attention also turned to the release of an unauthorized documentary about Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West. The film In Whose Name? is directed by Nico Ballesteros and taps more than 3,000 hours of footage to trace events from 2018 through 2024. The documentary, rated R, runs about an hour and 46 minutes and premiered on Friday, September 19. Outtakes show episodes of marital strain between Kardashian and West, alongside West’s career highs and lows, with scenes in which he expresses frustration and, at times, heatedly defends his decision to stop taking medication for bipolar disorder. One moment depicts him arguing with Kardashian’s mother-in-law Kris Jenner, who had tried to intervene.
Earlier in the weekend, Kardashian also teased a glossy magazine moment, sharing a post about her latest French Vogue cover. The star appeared wrapped in a luxe comforter and wearing Cartier jewelry, while her hair fell over her face. In all caps, she wrote that this was her First French Vogue cover wearing nothing but Cartier, adding that the moment was a lifelong item on her bucket list. Kardashian’s first Vogue cover had appeared in March 2014, and she was photographed with West at the time.
Kardashian and West share four children: North, 12; Saint, nine; Chicago, seven; and Psalm, six. The couple, who were together for years before divorcing, have remained central figures in Kardashian’s public life as she continues to expand her business empire and media presence. The Italian outing, with its backdrop of historic architecture and a tourist promenade, underlines Kardashian’s continued adeptness at weaving fashion moments into the attention cycle around her life and the broader conversations surrounding her family.
The release of In Whose Name? arrives amid broader interest in West’s career and personal history, and it adds new context to the past decade of Kardashian-West dynamics. Ballesteros said his project aimed to document events from 2018 to 2024, including West’s creative highs and personal struggles, but it is not a sanctioned production by Kardashian or her representatives. As the film begins to circulate, Kardashian’s public appearances—whether at fashion shoots, magazine features, or social media posts—continue to generate headlines and drive discussion about how the family has navigated fame, business, and personal evolution.
