Live For The Arts returns to INNSIDE by Meliá New York Nomad on October 23 for its fourth annual edition, a public, all-evening celebration of music, literature, visual art and design. The event is designed as an immersive cultural experience that brings together multiple disciplines under one roof and invites audiences to engage with artists, writers and designers in a single venue.

Musical performances will feature Gye and Aina Zanoguera, who bring a Mediterranean-tinged electronic sound to the stage. A literary panel will feature best-selling Spanish author Joana Marcús, whose work explores contemporary culture and identity. An installation devoted to Catalan painter and sculptor Joan Miró will be presented alongside a short film outlining his life, with remarks from his late wife, Pilar Juncosa. The program is designed to offer a cross-disciplinary view of art and creativity, inviting dialogue between disciplines and audiences.

Attendees can also participate in design conversations featuring Tierra Extraña, Spanish illustrator Álvaro Domínguez—whose work has appeared in The New York Times Most Notable Illustrations list—and Spanish author Juan Trejo. Alongside the panels, immersive art installations, live portraits by local artists and performing arts showcases will create a dynamic sensory journey throughout the night.

Beyond the program, the hotel invites guests to extend their experience with an overnight stay. INNSIDE by Meliá New York Nomad sits between Midtown and Downtown Manhattan with sweeping views of the city skyline and easy access to the High Line, Chelsea Market, Greenwich Village and the West Village. The property highlights contemporary art in its public spaces and lobby, including a 50-foot moss mural by Plant The Future and a rotating gallery by local artist Kirsten Ulve.

Dining options at the hotel complement the cultural program. El Lugar Cantina offers tableside guacamole, tacos and margarita specials, while The Wilson serves a global menu with more than a dozen entrées and an accompanying cocktail list. The Wilson also offers a pet-friendly experience, and the hotel provides a dedicated pet menu to order from there, featuring options such as grilled chicken and a pup-friendly treat. The property emphasizes hospitality for guests with four-legged friends, including a welcome gesture upon arrival.

INNSIDE is a partner of the New York Liberty, underscoring the property’s alignment with New York’s cultural events and community. The fourth Live For The Arts adds another layer of cultural programming to a city already rich in art, food and performance, offering locals and visitors a chance to engage with multiple disciplines in one place.

Don’t forget to add the fourth annual Live For The Arts to your calendar for October 23. The event is open to the public and promises an evening of performances, conversations and installations, followed by the option to extend the experience with an overnight stay at INNSIDE by Meliá New York Nomad.
