Mark Wright, Olly Murs and Freddie Flintoff film Bullseye celebrity special in Manchester for Soccer Aid
A celebrity edition of Bullseye filmed in Manchester as ITV prepares a four-episode revival and Christmas special, with Freddie Flintoff hosting his debut.

Mark Wright cut a casual figure in a grey tracksuit as he arrived at a Manchester studio on Friday to film a celebrity edition of Bullseye for Soccer Aid. The TV personality, 38, wore a grey sweatshirt and matching jogging bottoms, paired with chunky white trainers featuring orange and pink detailing, and carried a Louis Vuitton backpack. He was joined by Olly Murs and Freddie Flintoff as filming got underway at the studio.
Olly Murs, 41, arrived in a vintage white T-shirt with a red lip print and khaki low-rise trousers, leaving the studio with the Bendy Bully souvenir toy. Earlier in the day, he was spotted in a smart brown blazer over a white T-shirt as he teamed with Mark Wright for the segment. Freddie Flintoff, 47, arrived with golf clubs in hand, wearing a white hoody and dark grey shorts, paired with Nike socks and off-white and grey trainers. He wore a grey flat cap and aviator shades, carrying a black Louis Vuitton Keepall bag on one shoulder.
Comedians Jon Richardson and Angela Barnes were also spotted outside the studio on Friday. Jon, who was celebrating his 43rd birthday that day, was seen leaving with a large red balloon and several gift bags, while Angela cut a vibrant figure in a green tropical print jumpsuit as she walked nearby with several bags.
The celebrity Soccer Aid edition is part of Bullseye's return, with ITV confirming a four-episode series and a Christmas special earlier this year. The celebrity edition, airing next June, will follow the original format, with teams made up of a 'thrower' and a 'knower' competing for points and prizes by combining darts skills with general knowledge. The revival will also feature professional darts players assisting contestants and the return of Master of Ceremonies Richard Ashdown.
Bullseye originally ran through the 1980s and 1990s with iconic host Jim Bowen, where the star prize was often a speedboat. It was briefly revived in 2006 with comedian Dave Spikey at the helm. For the 2024 Christmas special, Freddie took the presenter’s chair, with teen darts sensation Luke Littler, 17, appearing as one of the star-studded guests. Previous photos obtained by The Sun showed a shiny new speedboat back in pride of place at the Manchester studio, a nod to the original prize.
Host Freddie cut a laid-back figure for the outing, wearing a white hoody and dark grey shorts. To complete his look, he sported a grey flat cap and matching aviator shades, carrying a black Louis Vuitton Keepall bag on one shoulder. The celebrity Soccer Aid edition will continue Bullseye’s legacy, blending competitive darts with general knowledge as fans await the June air date.
In context, the shoot arrives as Bullseye looks to capitalize on its revival, bringing together familiar faces from music and sports for a charity-focused throwback. The show’s return has generated anticipation among fans, with the 2024 Christmas episode already highlighting Freddie’s hosting debut and a high level of audience engagement as viewers tuned in for a nostalgic yet modern spin on the classic format.
