Martine McCutcheon posts topless throwback as split from Jack McManus coincides with bankruptcy filings

Martine McCutcheon, 49, shared a sun-soaked throwback on Thursday that showed her in a topless pose wearing high-waisted black swim bottoms, using a phone to cover her modesty. The post, captioned “Take me back to the sun and sea... This lady needs her Vitamin D!,” arrived amid a highly public timeline that includes her October 2024 confirmation of separation from husband Jack McManus after 18 years together.

In March 2025, a County Court in Guildford issued a bankruptcy order against McCutcheon, filed in her married name, Martine McManus, following a petition by LDF Finance. The development followed reports that she and McManus had sold their five-bedroom Surrey home for £1,355,000 in January after listing earlier in 2024 for as much as £1.5 million. The couple had put the property on the market in May 2024, then reduced the asking price before securing a sale at the start of 2025.

The bankruptcy proceedings come amid broader financial disclosures tied to McCutcheon’s wider business interests. Raven Music Ltd, a company associated with the star, was wound up by HM Revenue & Customs over unpaid tax bills, with latest accounts showing more than £175,000 owed to HMRC for the 12 months following February 2022. It is not yet clear whether the Official Receiver will apply for a public examination of her bankruptcy, which would reveal additional financial details to the public.

This is not the first time McCutcheon has faced insolvency. The actress, whose net worth was once estimated at over £2 million, previously went through bankruptcy in 2013, from which she was discharged in 2014. Her public financial trajectory contrasted with moments of celebratory life in recent years, including a high-profile wedding to Jack McManus in 2012 at Lake Como and the purchase of a Surrey home in June 2022 for about £1.3 million.

McCutcheon and McManus announced their separation in August 2024, posting on social media that they were parting after 18 years together. They share a ten-year-old son, and they had listed their Surrey residence for sale amid the split, before finalizing the sale in January 2025. The pair had previously defended their relationship in public statements, with McCutcheon later wishing her former husband well for the next chapter in his life.

In the wake of the bankruptcy and ongoing financial disclosures, McCutcheon’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The public record shows intertwined chapters of personal upheaval and financial restructuring, reflecting a broader media interest in the actress’s career and private life as she navigates the fallout from these developments.
