Matt Goss engaged to Chantal Brown, eyes London wedding and reconciliation with Luke Goss

Matt Goss says he is engaged to his girlfriend, jewelry designer Chantal Brown, and plans a wedding in London. The former Bros frontman-turned-television personality discussed the news during a Barrus X Art De Huille London Fashion Week event at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London, describing Brown as the partner who will “make an honest man out of me.”

“We haven't officially put it out there yet, but we're engaged and looking forward to getting married,” he told a reporter. “She's going to make a honest man out of me.” He added that the ceremony will take place in London, reflecting Brown's roots and the couple's wish to establish their life together in the city.

Amid the happiness, Goss acknowledged an ongoing rift with his twin brother and former Bros member Luke Goss. He said he hopes the coming year will bring reconciliation, calling Luke “the love of my life, my best mate,” and expressing a desire to “bind up my void.” While he declined to discuss the reasons for the estrangement, Goss noted that their shared history—born on the same day, raised together, and once performing together as Bros—might still offer a path to amends. He did not rule out performing with Luke on stage again, saying, “There's no good reason for us not to do it.”

The couple's plans include a London wedding, a milestone that comes as Goss seeks stability after years of touring and public scrutiny. He moved back to London in 2022 to be with Brown, after a decade of performing in Las Vegas. In a 2022 interview with The Sun, he said the move allowed them “to build a life” together and to enjoy movies, local restaurants, and England games. “It's wonderful. We get to build a life and go to the movies and find our local restaurants and watch the England games. It's a beautiful thing. I feel very fortunate to be able to have love back in my life,” he said, describing himself as a romantic.

Brown, who had previously been married to actor Paul Nicholls (the former EastEnders star who played Joe Wicks), has kept her personal life relatively private since their divorce in 2015. The couple tied the knot in Hampstead, north London, in 2008 and separated in 2015. Brown has described true love as a cornerstone of her relationship with Goss, a sentiment that underpins their engagement and future plans. Over the years, Goss has reflected on his romantic side and his belief that love can endure despite public scrutiny. The engagement marks a new chapter for the 56-year-old entertainer, who rose to fame as the lead singer of Bros in the late 1980s and has since pursued a varied career in music, television, and live performance.
