A representative for Mike Wolfe says the History Channel personality has been discharged from the hospital and is back home, where he will focus on follow-up appointments and managing lingering injuries to his knee and wrist from the Sept. 12 crash in Columbia, Tennessee. Leticia Cline remains hospitalized after extensive jaw surgery following multiple facial injuries, with medical officials describing her condition as serious but improving with a long recovery ahead.
Cline’s medical updates include fractures to her jaw, sternum and ribs, and a partially collapsed lung. Her jaw surgery was described by the surgical team as one of the most challenging cases they have encountered; the procedure was successful, but she continues to experience significant pain and faces a lengthy rehabilitation.
Wolfe and Cline, who have been dating since 2021, were injured in a car crash in Columbia, Tennessee, about two weeks prior to the update. Wolfe’s injuries were described as a broken nose, an injured knee and facial lacerations requiring stitches. Cline’s injuries include jaw, sternum and rib fractures and a lung injury, with her social posts noting that her mouth would be wired shut as part of the recovery process.
The couple’s representative said Wolfe was discharged and is focusing on follow-up care, while Cline remains hospitalized and is on the long path to healing. “Mike and Leticia will provide updates as they are able,” the rep told People, adding that fans should continue to keep Leticia in their hearts as she begins this long road to healing. The spokesperson also expressed gratitude for the care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, noting that the couple is in the best hands.
Wolfe is best known for hosting American Pickers on History, a show that started its 27th season in July. The new season aired as Wolfe and Cline recover from the crash that punctuated a difficult period for the longtime reality series and for the friends and fans who have followed Wolfe’s career since the show began.
