Netflix ringside star Sibley Scoles shines at Joshua-Paul fight in Miami

Netflix's worldwide broadcast of Anthony Joshua's blockbuster bout with Jake Paul from the Kaseya Center in Miami introduced Sibley Scoles as its ringside reporter, a move that quickly drew attention to an Emmy-winning broadcaster who has become known to NFL audiences.

Sibley Scoles, 37, serves as the Las Vegas Raiders' in-game host at Allegiant Stadium and is a red-carpet host for E! and Access Hollywood; this year she also hosted Women of Wrestling. On Netflix's broadcast she appeared within the first minutes, with host Kate Scott handing off to Scoles at ringside to preview the bout.

Fans quickly took to social media to learn more about Scoles and praised her presence at ringside. She also interviewed Joshua during the pre-fight build-up, providing viewers with behind-the-curtain access.

Ahead of the live show, she posted behind-the-scenes glimpses from rehearsals and the walk to the ring, noting that final rehearsals were wrapped and the stage was set for Netflix's global audience.

The event represented a milestone for Netflix as it expands into live sports coverage and high-profile entertainment events, with the streamer projecting a reach that could surpass 60 million viewers.

Scoles's appearance underscores Netflix's strategy of pairing sports moments with demonstrated entertainment hosts, leveraging cross-media experience from NFL, red carpet, and wrestling to broaden the appeal of its live broadcasts.
