Phoebe Burgess lists Tuscan-inspired Southern Highlands home for $2.25 million
Burradoo property, dubbed Acre Hill, hits the market with a $2 million to $2.25 million guide, featuring a four-bedroom layout on nearly 7,000 square metres.

Phoebe Burgess has put her Tuscan-inspired Southern Highlands home on the market, listing it with a price guide of $2 million to $2.25 million. The former rugby WAG, 36, bought the four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence in Burradoo in April 2021 for about $1.7 million, using proceeds from her highly publicized divorce from Sam Burgess. The two-storey property sits on 6,949 square metres and showcases modern architecture, with large, open spaces and connected living and dining areas that flow into a spacious kitchen and a formal sitting room. A dedicated study and a family laundry round out the practical, family-focused layout, and four bedrooms overlook sweeping lawns and mature trees.
The estate, affectionately known as Acre Hill, also features a pony paddock, a chicken shed, and lush, irrigated gardens that include a greenhouse. A slow-combustion wood fire adds a cosy touch, and the home office and a separate downstairs TV room provide flexible living space. The grounds are described as offering breathtaking views and convenient access to nearby shopping and dining, with six car parks on site.
Burgess has said selling the home reflects her current family circumstances. She has explained that, as a single-income household, they could not realise all their dreams at once and that letting go of the property was a bittersweet decision. She previously rented the home out at about $995 a week during periods when she and her children were based in the Highlands, a move she says created a sanctuary during a difficult personal time. Burgess relocated from Sydney to the Highlands during the Covid lockdown and after the breakdown of her marriage, saying the property had become a grounding place for her and her children, Poppy, now eight, and Billy, six.
On the personal front, the timing of the listing comes as her ex-husband Sam Burgess navigates new family milestones of his own. Sam recently announced he and wife Lucy are expecting a second child, sharing the news in a series of Capri holiday photos posted to Instagram. The couple, who wed in a lavish Italian ceremony after years of dating, already share daughter Robbie, born in September 2023. Sam and Phoebe had a highly public separation in October 2019 after an on-again, off-again relationship that began to unfold publicly in 2018, following the couple’s earlier attempts to reconcile after a December 2018 split.
Phoebe and Sam’s public timeline has frequently drawn media attention, but Burgess has remained focused on her family and her Highlands property ambitions. The Burradoo listing underscores a broader trend of high-net-worth homeowners in the region seeking to balance privacy, lifestyle, and investment potential, particularly in areas described as peaceful, scenic, and well-serviced.
