Silvia Venturini Fendi takes full creative control, unveils colorful Milan Spring-Summer 2026 collection
Fendi leans into youth and craft as Venturini Fendi becomes sole creative director for both menswear and womenswear

Silvia Venturini Fendi has taken full creative control of her family’s fashion house, presenting a co-ed Spring-Summer 2026 collection during Milan Fashion Week that highlighted craft and fantasy. The opening look featured a color-block Peekaboo bag, setting a buoyant tone for a show described by the designer as relaxed and colorful with a romantic elegance. The palette ranged from deep reds to bright turquoise and bubblegum pinks, balanced by black and brown neutrals and punctuated by floral details.
Venturini Fendi said the collection aims for a relaxed and colorful sense of ease with a romantic elegance, noting the attraction to the duality of simple gestures and complex work. Since last fall, she has been the sole creative director of both the menswear and womenswear lines. The lineup fused playful detail with technical mastery: jackets and dresses featuring cut-out daisy petal shapes with contrasting piping, soft stuffed flowers perched on handbags like talismans, and blurred floral prints on sheers that gave a dreamy effect. Pleats were layered into skirts and paired with sheer floral lace blouses, while a fur coat was crafted from adjoining florets, underscoring the collection’s finish and technique.
Accessories continued the whimsy: Peekaboo handbags appeared with sequins or tinsel inside, while scrunched leather versions carried wooden-bead details. A newly designed sling-back shoe proved tricky for several models, requiring a few on-the-spot strap adjustments. Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Venturini Fendi’s daughter, contributed gold cuffs, gold-and-enamel pendants and coral-shaped FF earrings to complement the collection’s florals and color work.
The Milan show marks a clear moment in the house’s trajectory, with Venturini Fendi consolidating leadership after taking sole creative direction for both men’s and women’s lines. The emphasis on color, floral motifs and meticulous craftsmanship signals Fendi’s intent to translate its heritage into a contemporary, co-ed proposition for Spring-Summer 2026, while inviting continued family collaboration on accessories and details that enrich the overall look.
