Tom Holland makes charity appearance days after on-set injury
Spider-Man star attends The Brothers Trust event with fiancée Zendaya as filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is paused following a concussion scare

Tom Holland made his first public appearance since an on-set accident left him hospitalized with a concussion, attending a family charity night in London on Sunday with fiancée Zendaya.
Two days earlier, on Friday, the British actor, 29, was rushed to hospital after a stunt during Spider-Man: Brand New Day went wrong at Leavesden Studios in Watford. He reportedly cracked his head after a fall, prompting a pause in filming of the £150 million Marvel movie and drawing attention to the production schedule, which was expected to extend for several weeks while he recovers. An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman told The Sun that an ambulance attended the scene and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.
The charity night, the third annual Posh Pub Quiz at Christie's auction house in Mayfair, raised funds for The Brothers Trust, the charity run by Holland and his three brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy, with support from their parents. Tom served as the quizmaster for the event, and Zendaya was in attendance alongside other guests. Prizes at the quiz included a round of golf with the actor himself. The Brothers Trust describes itself as using Tom's reach to host events that will, in time, fund a range of charitable grants.
Dominic Holland, Tom’s father, attended the charity dinner and later indicated that his son would be away from filming for a spell while he recovers. The family charity notes that it plans multiple events each year to support different causes, leveraging the Holland brothers’ platform to raise funds.
Meanwhile, the Spider-Man production has faced scheduling uncertainty since the injury. Earlier this year, Spider-Man 4 was pushed back to July 31, 2026, though insiders cautioned that revisions to the schedule could still occur in light of the incident. Tom Holland remains one of the central presences in the franchise as he balances acting commitments with his work on The Brothers Trust and other projects.
On screen, Holland and Zendaya are continuing to balance high-profile projects, including their involvement in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic The Odyssey. The couple, who have grown close during their collaborations on Spider-Man, are slated to share the screen again as they pursue new chapters together. Last month, Zendaya supported Holland as he shot scenes at Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey for Spider-Man, underscoring the couple’s professional and personal collaboration.
Away from the urban sets, Holland has also been seen in Glasgow in recent months, where production crews have been transforming the city into New York for the forthcoming sequel, underscoring the ongoing push to complete the high-profile franchise installments despite the recent setback.
