Susman said, 'As soon as we got on set and realized what we had with the crew and what we had been able to put together with the cast and the producing team, everyone was kind of like, 'Why are we ending this? This is a good thing we got going here,' There are so many storylines I still want to follow.' She noted that she would specifically like to explore Mancuso's path after Black Rabbit. Baylin also hinted that there could be more to come. 'Hopefully, people will watch and like the show,' he said. 'Then, you know, maybe we get to explore some of those other avenues.'

Netflix has not announced a renewal for a second season, and Black Rabbit remains listed as a limited series. The show, which unfolds largely in and around the Black Rabbit club, features Law’s Jake and Bateman’s Vince amid debt, loyalties and the frenetic energy of a city that never stops.
