Caprice reveals what she eats in a day to maintain her figure after turning away from fat-jabs
The 54-year-old model credits gym, a sugar-light diet and vegetarian meals for her current shape after ditching weight-loss injections.

Caprice, 54, has revealed what she eats in a day to maintain her figure after turning away from weight-loss injections she once tried. The former model was prescribed Mounjaro after gaining about 20 pounds and briefly used it, but she says a microdose brought side effects such as heart palpitations and difficulty climbing stairs. She said she decided to change her approach to health and fitness, choosing a lifestyle overhaul over continued medication.
Caprice told the Daily Mail at her home in west London that the key to her current figure is regular exercise and a disciplined diet. "Mounjaro just didn't work for me, but I changed my life and I changed my diet," she said. She emphasized that even if the medication had been effective, weight could return after stopping it, so she sought lasting habits. "So you've got to change your lifestyle, I now have a habit of not eating the wrong foods." She also noted she allows herself occasional treats but aims to keep them infrequent and small in scope, adding, "But for the most part, I don't crave it anymore. That first month of cutting down is so difficult, but once you get past that, you don't crave it anymore."
In terms of daily routine, Caprice described a diet that centers on vegetables, fruit and plant-based proteins. She is vegetarian and prioritizes whole foods, noting she consolidates vitamins in the morning before meals. For breakfast she chooses fruit, highlighting pomegranates for gut health. Lunch typically consists of vegetables, with avocado a staple part of her daily intake, along with salads and soups. When she needs a mid-day pick-me-up, she reaches for nuts—Brazil nuts, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and pecans—rather than grazing throughout the day. She added that she avoids refined sugar and prefers honey as a natural sweetener.
Capacity for movement is also a priority. Caprice said she goes to the gym three times a week to lift weights under the guidance of a personal trainer, describing the routine as foundational to maintaining her physique while staying energized. She explained that the exercises help counterbalance the changes that can come with age and a busy schedule.
Beyond diet and fitness, Caprice has sought to redefine her professional life in a way that aligns with her values. The mother of two, Jax and Jett, ages 12, with husband Ty Comfort, has expanded into production, launching JJLove Productions Ltd. She recently released A Scottish Christmas Secret on Channel 5 and its streaming service My5, where she serves as star, producer and executive producer. In interviews, she has said the shift is partly driven by a desire for meaningful work and to show her children a model of perseverance and hustle beyond the conventional TV roles she previously held.
Caprice has spoken openly about past stereotypes in casting and the pressure to fit a certain image. She said she wanted to demonstrate that she could pursue a broad range of projects and still be a devoted parent who works hard for her children to be proud of. Lawyers and agents aside, she described the move as a path to happiness and personal growth, rather than chasing a particular body image for the camera.
Health experts emphasize that sustainable weight management typically combines regular physical activity with a balanced, personalized diet. Caprice’s approach—prioritizing resistance training, whole foods, and limited refined sugar—aligns with common best practices. Still, as with any weight-management plan, individual results vary, and medical guidance is advised when considering medications like Mounjaro or other weight-loss therapies. Caprice’s experience highlights a broader trend of public figures sharing personal strategies to manage weight while prioritizing long-term health and well-being.
