TIME and Statista crown World's Top HealthTech Companies of 2025
First-ever TIME-Statista ranking spotlights 400 firms across six segments based on financial performance, reputation and online engagement

TIME, in partnership with Statista, published its first World’s Top HealthTech Companies 2025 ranking, intended to identify the most innovative and impactful health technology firms across the globe. The study aims to spotlight companies that drive innovation, expand access to care, and contribute to a more efficient and sustainable health care system.
Selection rests on three evaluation pillars, weighted to produce a final score. Financial Performance accounts for 50 percent and is based on metrics such as revenue per employee and total funding. Reputation Analysis accounts for 30 percent and uses social listening to gauge sentiment, visibility and credibility across news coverage, blogs, forums and social media. Online Engagement accounts for 20 percent and measures the reach and activity of a company’s digital platforms, with website traffic as the key indicator. After collecting and scoring data across these dimensions, researchers identified the 400 companies with the highest scores as the World’s Top HealthTech Companies.
Companies on the list are categorized into six market segments reflecting different approaches to health technology: AI & Data Analytics; Diagnostics; Medical Devices & Wearables; Health Information & Management; Prevention; and Telehealth & Treatment. The framework is designed to capture a broad landscape—from data-driven diagnostic tools and remote care platforms to secure electronic health records and preventive health applications.
TIME notes that the ranking is based on an international analysis designed to map where health tech innovation is most vibrant and which firms are scaling in finance, reputation and digital presence. The methodology is described in TIME's article, and the full list of top companies is published there along with the definitions of the six segments.
The release is of interest to policymakers, investors and health care providers seeking to understand current trends in digital health and the evolving roles of AI, telehealth, and device-enabled care. By highlighting the firms that perform well on money metrics, public perception, and online reach, the ranking offers a snapshot of which technologies and business models are gaining traction across the health sector.
Readers can access the full list and methodology in TIME’s article, which outlines how the three pillars are measured and how the six HealthTech segments are defined. The World’s Top HealthTech Companies 2025 provides a reference point for ongoing discussions about innovation, accessibility and sustainability in health care.
