UK adult content creator with two vaginas quits porn to seek love

A UK-based adult content creator known as Annie Charlotte, 27, who was born with uterus didelphys, announced she is quitting porn to pursue a serious relationship, saying she wants to be loved and happy. She has built a following by filming sex videos and earning thousands of dollars, but she says online harassment has taken too big a toll, she told Daily Mail. "It's just jeopardised too much of my life. I'm 27 and I want someone to love me, and I want to be happy," she said.

Charlotte says she first built her following through solo content on platforms like OnlyFans, then began filming with other creators about a year ago. After attending the Adult Video News Awards, she decided to pursue a move into mainstream porn, saying, "After seeing all these women who are in mainstream porn, I just thought, I want to be one of these women." The foray into more widely known porn lasted about 12 months before she quit after a breakup. She recalls, "I met someone, and it was going really well, and then he realised he was not okay with my job. He couldn't handle seeing everything." She adds that many men in the industry either didn’t respect her because of her job or pretended to respect her but looked down on her. "It really sucks to be 27 and never have been in love, and I really want to give it a go."

Annie says dating presents additional obstacles beyond the online backlash. She says the medical condition she was born with already sexualises her relationships, which complicates connecting with potential partners. "I let people know quite early, or they've seen me in the papers, or they've seen my Instagram, my relationships start quite sexual. That can be quite intense," she explains. "I feel like because of my condition the first thing that is spoken about is sex, and sometimes I just want someone to get to know me." But she remains hopeful, looking for a partner "who loves me and is funny and just wants to love me for me." She adds with a lighthearted note, "I want someone sweet and caring. Also, they'll have to play video games with me."

Annie was diagnosed with uterus didelphys as a teenager when she went to have a contraceptive coil fitted. The condition means a woman has two uteruses, and often two vaginas and two cervixes, and can affect fertility or pregnancy in some cases. Doctors describe uterus didelphys as a rare condition, believed to affect about one in 3,000 women, though many live without symptoms. The standard medical description is that the early developing wombs fail to fuse into a single organ, resulting in two separate uterine structures. In some cases, surgery to join the walls and create a single uterus is possible, but it is not routinely recommended unless patients experience severe symptoms. In Annie’s case, the option has not been pursued; she says her goal now is to find love and happiness.
