Bears rally to beat Packers 22-16 in OT after Moore blindsides hit

In a chippy edition of the longtime Bears-Packers rivalry, Chicago defeated Green Bay 22-16 in overtime on Monday night after a series of injuries and controversial moments dominated the narrative.

In the opening quarter, Bears wide receiver DJ Moore was running a crossing route when Packers defensive back Keisan Nixon delivered a blindside hit from behind as Moore looked for the ball. There was no flag or ejection on the play, drawing immediate scrutiny from fans on social media. Moore left the field for evaluation but later returned to action.

Late in the first half, Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered a concussion and was ruled out. Malik Willis stepped in for the rest of the first half as Green Bay carried a 6-0 lead into halftime.

Chicago, missing two top receivers in Rome Odunze and Luther Burden, relied on Olamide Zaccheaus and Jahdae Walker to pace the offense as the Bears attempted to mount a comeback. The defense also tightened, helping to keep the game within reach through the second half.

Moore's overtime touchdown delivered the decisive points for Chicago, who completed the comeback to beat Green Bay 22-16.

Fans on X blasted the officials for not flagging Nixon's hit, and some questioned whether the play had been deemed dirty. How is that not a penalty? Super dirty hit on DJ Moore completely away from the play, one user wrote on X.
