Bears stun Packers in overtime as Jordan Love suffers concussion
Caleb Williams leads late rally; DJ Moore wins it with 46-yard OT TD; Malik Willis shines in relief

In Chicago, the Bears defeated the Green Bay Packers in overtime on a 46-yard touchdown pass to DJ Moore, after Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love left the game with a concussion in the second quarter. Love was knocked helmet-to-helmet by Bears defensive lineman Austin Booker on a sack, and Booker was flagged for roughing the passer. Love jogged off the field and went into the blue injury tent on Green Bay’s sideline before walking to the visiting locker room.
Malik Willis entered at quarterback for Green Bay and led a drive that produced Brandon McManus’ 22-yard field goal, giving the Packers a 6-0 lead. Willis completed nine of 11 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown, and added 44 rushing yards on seven carries, providing a spark for a team playing without its starter.
Late in the fourth quarter, Green Bay appeared to have control, taking a 16-6 lead with less than six minutes to play. Chicago answered with a quick field goal drive, then recovered an onside kick and a fourth-down touchdown pass by Caleb Williams tied the game and forced overtime. Williams, the Bears’ quarterback, delivered key plays down the stretch to keep the comeback alive.
In overtime, Green Bay won the opening possession but could not convert on a fourth-and-short in Bears territory. On Chicago’s fourth play of overtime, Williams uncorked the game-winning 46-yard pass to Moore to seal the win for the Bears. The victory strengthens Chicago’s grip on first place in the NFC North and gives the team a realistic shot at securing the conference’s top seed with two games remaining.
The heater issues on the Packers’ sideline, which Fox Sports noted as inoperable for much of the game, added another wrinkle to an otherwise tense late-season clash. The injury to Love leaves Green Bay with an unsettled quarterback situation as the team looks toward a potential playoff push.
These developments come as the NFL playoff picture tightens in Week 15, with several contenders jockeying for position in the NFC. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
