Bloodied Texans Fan Says She Will Sue After Brawl at SoFi Stadium

A female Houston Texans fan who was left bloodied during a brawl in the stands at SoFi Stadium said she plans to sue after the altercation during Sunday’s Rams-Texans game.

In a video posted after the incident and widely circulated on social media, the woman said she was left outside the stadium without a phone or assistance after security escorted her out. In the clip she said, "They left me out here with zero f***ing anybody, no phone, no nothing. I don't know. I'm still bleeding from the altercation. I just want this documented for the attorneys going forward."

The clash in the stands began after a verbal exchange between the female Texans fan and a female Rams fan, according to videos of the incident. The footage shows the Rams fan shoving the Texans fan repeatedly while others nearby attempted to calm the situation. A man wearing a Texans jersey then dumped a beer on the Rams fan, and a male Rams fan punched him. Moments later, the videos show the female Rams fan striking the female Texans fan, leaving the latter with a significant facial injury.

Security personnel are seen escorting the injured fan out of the stadium in the aftermath. The fan’s male companion remained in his seat and can be heard complaining to security and others in his section. It was not clear from available reports whether any arrests were made or whether stadium authorities had formally ejected specific individuals. The victim told viewers she planned to pursue legal action.

Daily Mail reported the account and said it had reached out to Rams representatives and the Inglewood Police Department for comment. The Los Angeles Rams did not immediately release a statement on the incident.

On the field, the Rams defeated the visiting Texans, 14-9, as Los Angeles’ defense limited Houston to 265 yards. The game drew renewed attention after the postgame social media circulation of the altercation.

SoFi Stadium has seen multiple fan disturbances since it opened as the home of the Rams and Chargers in 2020. A brawl during a 2021 preseason game was reported to have lasted several minutes before security intervened, and multiple fights were reported at the stadium during the 2024 season. Team and stadium officials have periodically said they are working to improve fan safety and security measures.

Representatives for the teams and local law enforcement had not publicly confirmed whether an investigation had been opened into Sunday’s incident as of the latest reports. The Rams and Chargers are scheduled to play on the road next weekend.
