Carlos Alcaraz Celebrates US Open Victory at Exclusive New York Supper Club

Carlos Alcaraz celebrated his U.S. Open triumph in Manhattan on Sunday night, soaking in champagne in the players’ area before heading to an exclusive private members’ supper club in the city’s Meatpacking District.

The 22-year-old Spaniard defeated Jannik Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to claim his sixth Grand Slam title and his second U.S. Open crown. Footage from the arena showed Alcaraz in the locker-room area with a bottle of champagne as members of his team and coaching staff, including Juan Carlos Ferrero, joined the post-match celebrations. At one point Alcaraz was doused with champagne amid the festivities.

Alcaraz then spent part of the night at Chez Margaux, a members-only supper club overseen by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Vongerichten posted a photograph with Alcaraz from inside the venue, offering congratulations. The club, which bills itself as inspired by 1930s Parisian elegance and London nightlife, features a main dining room focused on modern French cuisine, a Japanese-inspired lounge and a caviar-and-cocktails bar that becomes a nightclub in the evening.

The club has drawn attention in recent seasons for hosting high-profile gatherings. A party there in 2024 included entertainers and friends of pop star Taylor Swift, and the venue was the site of celebrations for other athletes and musicians during the weekend. Membership fees for Chez Margaux are reportedly $3,000 a year with a $2,000 joining fee for applicants under 30; fees increase to $4,000 a year with a $3,000 joining fee for those older than 30, subject to approval.

Photographs and video from the evening show Alcaraz alongside models Brianna Bardhi and Tika Camaj. The U.S. Open weekend also overlapped with music-industry events and award-show afterparties, and the club attracted a number of entertainers and guests, including Jamie Foxx and Cardi B, who performed during a late-night gathering.

The venue had hosted women’s champion Aryna Sabalenka the previous night, and she brought her trophy to celebrate with friends and members of her team. Sabalenka was photographed inside the club alongside personalities such as Jonathan Cheban, known as Foodgod, according to reports.

Alcaraz’s on-court success this year came after a four-set win on Arthur Ashe Stadium. The player, who began the evening with his team in the players’ area, continued celebrations into the night at the private club, where teammates, celebrities and nightlife regulars gathered following the tournament and concurrent music-industry events.

Organizers and representatives for Alcaraz and Chez Margaux did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
