Carlos Alcaraz Soaks Up US Open Win Before Heading to Private New York Supper Club
The Spanish world No. 1 celebrated his second US Open title — and sixth Grand Slam — with champagne in the locker room, then joined a late-night party at Manhattan’s members-only Chez Margaux.

Carlos Alcaraz celebrated his 2025 US Open victory with champagne-soaked festivities in the Arthur Ashe Stadium locker room before heading to an exclusive private members’ supper club in Manhattan.
The 22-year-old beat Jannik Sinner in four sets, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, to claim the sixth Grand Slam of his career and his second US Open title, having previously won in 2022. The men’s final was attended by, among others, U.S. President Donald Trump.
Footage and accounts from night-of celebrations showed Alcaraz entering the changing room with a bottle of champagne and attempting to douse members of his entourage. Team members, including coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, instead sprayed the newly crowned champion in return as the victory party got underway.
After the initial locker-room celebrations, Alcaraz and members of his party traveled to Chez Margaux, a private supper club in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District that has become a frequent nightlife destination for athletes and entertainers. The player was photographed inside the venue with chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who oversees the club’s menu, and was photographed socialising with models including Brianna Bardhi and Tika Camaj.
Chez Margaux, which markets itself as inspired by Paris in the 1930s and London’s nightlife, features a main dining room focused on modern French cuisine, a Japanese-inspired lounge and a caviar-and-cocktails bar that converts into a nightclub in the evening. The club charges an annual fee of roughly $3,000 with a joining fee for younger applicants, rising for those over 30, according to the venue’s published rates.
The Alcaraz celebration coincided with an afterparty for the MTV Video Music Awards, also held in New York on Sunday night, and a number of high-profile guests were reported at Chez Margaux. Names associated with the evening included actor Jamie Foxx and rapper Cardi B; actress Lupita Nyong’o, who attended the men’s final, was also reported among those who later went to the venue. The previous night the club hosted women’s singles champion Aryna Sabalenka, who brought her trophy to the same venue while celebrating with members of her team.
Alcaraz’s victory continues his rapid ascent in men’s tennis. The Spanish player reclaimed the world No. 1 ranking earlier in the season and added the US Open trophy to a career that already includes multiple Grand Slam titles. His off-court celebrations followed a four-set final in which he rebounded from a second-set loss to dominate the third and close the match in the fourth.
Organisers and representatives at the club did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the evening’s attendees. On-court, Alcaraz’s win further cements his status among the leading players of his generation as he prepares for the Asian and indoor hard-court swing on the ATP calendar.
