INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts moved to 3-0 this season with a 41-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, led by former Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, who has yet to throw an interception this year. Jones completed 18 of 25 pass attempts for 228 yards and a touchdown, including a 20-yard scoring strike to Michael Pittman Jr. in the third quarter. He averaged 9.1 yards per attempt as Indiana opened the season with three straight wins, their best start since 2009 when Peyton Manning was under center.

Jones joined the Colts on a one-year deal in free agency after being released by the Giants in November 2024. His early-season production has reinforced the club's decision to roll with him as the starter on a short-term contract. Former Giants running back Saquon Barkley, who has spoken highly of Jones in recent weeks, said the quarterback has shown the traits and leadership that made him a trusted option to start this season and perform at a high level.

Jones has yet to throw an interception in three games this season and has produced multiple 220-plus-yard performances, underscoring a strong start to his Colts tenure. The Colts improved to 3-0 and pushed toward what could be a breakout season under head coach Shane Steichen. The Titans started quarterback Cam Ward, and the defense-tightening effort helped Indiana pull away in the second half.
