Conor McGregor, Dee Devlin Present United Front at BGC Charity Day Amid Legal and Personal Controversies
The couple joined a star-studded fundraiser in London as McGregor confronts civil rulings, a dismissed appeal and a social-media presidential bid.

Conor McGregor and his partner Dee Devlin appeared together at the BGC Group Annual Charity Day on Thursday, presenting a united front after recent personal and legal controversies surrounding the former UFC champion.
The couple joined a string of public figures at the star-studded event, which raises funds in honour of colleagues and brokers who died in the Sept. 11 attacks. Since its inception, Charity Day has raised about £220 million globally; on the day, BGC Group donates 100% of its revenue and broker commissions to participating charities. This year’s beneficiaries included community and national organisations such as HVH Arts, 20/20 Levels, The Pearl Fund, the West Ham United Foundation, Battersea Cats and Dogs Home and The Mayor’s Fund for London, alongside international charities including Action Medical Research, Choose Love, Space for Giants and Help for Heroes.
McGregor, 37, wore a grey suit while Devlin chose a pale blue midi dress as they posed together at the event. Their appearance comes after a series of developments that have kept the couple in the public eye, including a civil court ruling, a failed appeal, allegations of infidelity and social-media accusations.
In November 2024, a Dublin High Court jury found McGregor liable in a civil case brought by Nikita Brynley Hand, who alleged she was sexually assaulted in 2018. The jury awarded Hand damages; McGregor appealed the decision. On July 31, a three-judge panel dismissed that appeal, ruling against him on all five grounds and upholding the earlier judgment. Hand has since launched further legal action alleging malicious abuse of court processes against McGregor and two other defendants.
Shortly after the appeals decision, McGregor posted on social media to announce a bid to become president of Ireland. He is not affiliated with any political party and has no prior elected-office experience. The Irish presidency is a largely ceremonial seven-year term; the office cannot propose or pass legislation or unilaterally initiate referenda.
The couple’s public appearance followed additional tabloid reports that McGregor was photographed kissing a woman on a beach in Fort Lauderdale while Devlin was not present. Those images prompted questions and online commentary, which were amplified when rapper Azealia Banks posted on the social platform X, accusing McGregor of sexual harassment and sharing images she said were sent to her. Banks posted screenshots she said showed nude photos and messages purportedly from McGregor’s account; McGregor and his representatives did not publicly confirm those messages.
Devlin has publicly supported McGregor through the legal proceedings. During the 2024 civil trial, she posted on social media in defence of McGregor and later published a tribute on Instagram. The couple have been together since 2008, when they met as teenagers, became engaged in August 2020 and share four children: Conor Jr., eight; Croia, five; Rian, three; and Mack, 19 months, according to public reports.
At BGC Charity Day, organisers and participating firms emphasised the fundraising mission. The annual event donates brokerage commissions and other proceeds to a range of charities and community groups and commemorates colleagues lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
McGregor’s legal matters remain active in civil courts, and additional filings stemming from Hand’s subsequent claims are underway. Representatives for McGregor and for others named in the recent filings did not provide immediate comment at the time of the event.
