Cowboys Beat Giants on Walk-Off Field Goal in Overtime Thriller
Brandon Aubrey drills 46-yard kick in overtime after a 64-yard heave forces extra time; Russell Wilson throws for 450 yards in narrow loss

The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Giants in dramatic fashion at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, winning on a 46-yard field goal by Brandon Aubrey in overtime after Aubrey had earlier tied the game with a 64-yard kick as time expired in regulation.
The game-winner came after a misplayed deep pass by Giants quarterback Russell Wilson in overtime was intercepted by Donovan Wilson, shifting momentum back to Dallas. On the Cowboys’ ensuing possession, Dak Prescott connected with George Pickens for a 27-yard gain, then scrambled 14 yards to set up Aubrey’s deciding kick, which split the uprights to end the game.
The finish capped a back-and-forth contest in which both offenses produced big plays. Wilson, making his first start after a Week 1 loss by the Giants, threw for 450 yards and two touchdowns, including a 48-yard scoring strike to Malik Nabers — his second of the game — that gave New York a 37-34 lead with 25 seconds remaining in regulation. Prescott then moved Dallas into field-goal range, finding Jake Ferguson for an 18-yard gain on second-and-10 and setting up Aubrey’s 64-yard attempt, which tied the game and forced overtime.
Nabers finished with nine receptions for 167 yards and two scores. Wan’Dale Robinson added eight catches for 142 yards and hauled in a critical fourth-down touchdown in the fourth quarter. Rookie Cam Skattebo recorded his first career rushing touchdown.
Prescott completed 361 passing yards with two touchdowns and one interception. CeeDee Lamb led the Cowboys with nine receptions for 112 yards, and Pickens scored his first touchdown in a Cowboys uniform, finishing with five catches for 68 yards. Javonte Williams paced the Dallas ground game with 97 yards on 18 carries and scored his third touchdown of the season; Miles Sanders also contributed a rushing touchdown.
The overtime session opened with punts by both teams on their first possessions. After the Giants’ defense forced a Dallas punt, Wilson drove New York into a position to win, but an ill-advised deep throw on second-and-13 was intercepted by Donovan Wilson, handing the Cowboys favorable field position. Prescott capitalized by converting two plays that set up Aubrey’s 46-yard attempt, which completed the turnaround.
The loss extended the Cowboys’ recent dominance in the NFC East rivalry and prolonged the Giants’ wait for a win in Dallas; New York had not beaten Dallas in Arlington since 2016. The game was the latest chapter in an ongoing series of high-scoring, closely contested matchups between the division foes.
Both teams displayed improved offensive rhythm compared with earlier in the season. The Giants, who failed to score a touchdown in Week 1, showed sharper protection and playmaking from Wilson and his receivers. Dallas continued to rely on a balanced attack led by Prescott, Lamb and a steady rushing effort.
The Cowboys left AT&T Stadium with the victory in a game that featured momentum swings, big individual performances and two long-distance field goals by Aubrey that ultimately decided the outcome.
