Daily Mail launches Premier League Predictor with weekly and season cash prizes
Readers can enter the Predictor game to win up to £1,000 per week or £5,000 for the season; entries accepted until a minute before kickoff
The Daily Mail has relaunched its Premier League Predictor game, offering readers the chance to win thousands of pounds by forecasting the outcomes of seven top-flight matches each weekend.
Players select the result of each match — home win, away win or draw — and submit a minute estimate for the time of the first goal in a designated tiebreaker fixture. Entrants may change predictions up to one minute before the kickoff of the first game each weekend, and an autofill option is available for users who prefer not to choose every result manually.
Weekly top scorers can win £1,000, while the season champion receives £5,000. Participants have already claimed more than £3,000 in prizes this season, with recent weekly winners named as Linda Spevick, Anne Singleton and Chey Dakota. All entrants are placed on a global public leaderboard, and players can also create or join private or public leagues to compete with friends or colleagues.
The competition runs alongside the return of Premier League fixtures after the international break. Nottingham Forest travel to Arsenal to kick off gameweek four, and the Manchester derby — Manchester City versus Manchester United — is scheduled to close the round, with City and United set to meet on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 3:30 p.m.
Among the Daily Mail’s experts, James Sharpe leads the standings so far with 12 points. The paper noted that players who top the weekly leaderboard will take the £1,000 prize for that week, and the overall season leader at the end of the campaign will receive the £5,000 prize — though competitors still trailing can close gaps during subsequent weeks. The outlet said a player would need to make up 15 points to move into contention for the season prize at the current stage.
The Predictor is available on the Daily Mail website and via the Mail’s mobile app. The competition is open to adults aged 18 and over and excludes Northern Ireland; terms and conditions apply.

In the event of a points tie, the tiebreaker relies on the accuracy of the predicted minute of the first goal in the designated fixture.
