Daily Mail Predictor returns as Premier League hits Gameweek 4 — expert Lewis Steele reveals his picks

The Premier League returns and so does the Daily Mail's free-to-play Predictor competition, with a weekly cash prize of £1,000 and a £5,000 prize for the season leader. Gameweek four features a packed schedule led by Arsenal against Nottingham Forest and closes with the Manchester derby at the Etihad.
Daily Mail Sport's Lewis Steele is this week's expert picker. Steele's seven predictions for the round see him back Arsenal to overcome the visiting Forest, Everton to beat Aston Villa, Newcastle to beat Wolves, Tottenham to defeat West Ham, Chelsea to win at Brentford, Liverpool to claim victory at Burnley, and a draw between Manchester City and Manchester United.
Gameweek four opens with Arsenal hosting Nottingham Forest, a fixture that will mark the return of Ange Postecoglou to north London following his move to the City Ground. Two Saturday 3pm kick-offs feature Everton welcoming Aston Villa and Wolves travelling to Newcastle. Saturday evening includes two London derbies, with Tottenham hosting West Ham at 5.30pm and Brentford staging Chelsea at 8pm. Sunday could bring Alexander Isak's Liverpool debut against Burnley before the weekend culminates with Manchester City versus Manchester United at the Etihad.
Steele flagged goalkeeping issues in Manchester as a factor that could shape the derby scoreline. "Judging by the goalkeeper situations in Manchester, the big Etihad Stadium derby could end up with a rugby score," he said, referencing City new No. 1 Gigi Donnarumma conceding four in midweek and United's unsettled options in goal. "But in all seriousness, despite a sticky start to the season for United I don't think they've actually been half as bad as people make out. City, meanwhile, have looked shaky… so I'm going for a score draw, especially with creative sparks Rayan Cherki and Omar Marmoush injured."
On other fixtures, Steele said he favoured Arsenal despite Postecoglou's return to north London: "Poor old Nuno. I fancy Arsenal though — sorry Big Ange, mate." He expects Liverpool to break down Scott Parker's Burnley defence, adding that Isak might see minutes off the bench. Steele also suggested Jack Grealish could flourish against his former club Aston Villa and predicted Everton would get the home win. He described Wolves as having "looked poor this season" and backed Newcastle to prevail, while forecasting Tottenham and Chelsea to take wins in their respective London derbies.
Predictor requires entrants to pick the outcome of seven Premier League matches — choosing a home win, away win or draw — and offers weekly and seasonal prizes.
