Hailee Steinfeld Keeps Low Profile as Husband Josh Allen Leads Bills' Wild Rally
Actress watched season-opening comeback at Highmark Stadium with family as Allen threw for 394 yards and the Bills edged the Ravens 41-40.

Hailee Steinfeld watched quietly from a suite at Highmark Stadium as husband Josh Allen engineered a fourth-quarter comeback in the Buffalo Bills' season opener, a 41-40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 7, 2025.
Footage posted to TikTok showed Steinfeld, 28, seated with family and friends, wearing a Bills varsity jacket and embracing loved ones as Allen completed the rally on Sunday Night Football. The reigning NFL Most Valuable Player threw for 394 yards and two touchdowns and added two rushing scores in the win.
"Our team didn't quit," Allen said after the game. "I think there's people who left the stadium. That's OK. We'll be fine. But have some faith next time." The comment came in the wake of a tightly contested matchup that saw momentum swing late and required the Bills' offense to complete multiple critical drives.
The appearance at the opener came roughly three months after Steinfeld and Allen were married in a California ceremony in late May. The couple, first publicly linked in spring 2023, became engaged in November 2024. In a June edition of her Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld described her wedding gown as "the most perfect gown" she had ever worn. Allen called the decision to marry "the most important decision" of his life and said he felt he had made the right choice.

Steinfeld was at Allen's side during several high-profile moments this year, including the NFL Honors ceremony in February when Allen accepted his first MVP award. Allen's 2024 season totals included 28 touchdown passes and six interceptions, along with 12 rushing touchdowns. The Bills finished the regular season 13-4, defeated Baltimore in the Divisional Round and fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game in January.
Before their wedding, Steinfeld promoted her film "Sinners" on a press tour that drew public support from Allen. He told NFL Network he became emotional at the film's premiere in April. Steinfeld, an Academy Award nominee, attended the NFL MVP celebration with Allen in February and has largely maintained a low public profile while supporting the quarterback.
The Bills, entering Allen's seventh season as the franchise quarterback, face heightened expectations after last season's deep playoff run and Allen's MVP campaign. Sunday's opening victory offered an early-season affirmation of the team's resilience and put a spotlight on Allen's dual-threat playmaking and the support of his family, who watched the comeback from the stadium suite.

The Bills will look to build on the victory as the season progresses. Allen's performance underscored his central role in Buffalo's offense and the continued attention the team draws, both on and off the field, as players and their families navigate high-profile public appearances early in the campaign.
