Hart open to coming off bench as Knicks plan deeper rotation ahead of camp
Brown aims for a nine- to ten-man rotation; Hart sacrifices for the team; four starters locked in

Josh Hart said he is prepared to come off the bench if that is what’s best for the New York Knicks, as coach Mike Brown opens the door to a deeper rotation ahead of training camp. Brown said the starting group will materialize throughout camp and cautioned it’s too early to lock in a lineup. The front office did a fantastic job putting together a talented and deep roster, and so you have to have a methodical approach when it comes to saying, 'Hey these guys are going to start.'
Four of the Knicks’ expected starters are locked in: Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns. The fifth starter remains unsettled, with Hart the incumbent but not a lock to return. Mitchell Robinson, Miles McBride and Guerschon Yabusele are among other logical options to start.
