Jason Sudeikis cheers as Arsenal rout Nottingham Forest 3-0 at Emirates
Actor spotted at Emirates Stadium as Arsenal midfielder Martín Zubimendi scores twice; Sudeikis also back on set for Ted Lasso season four production in London

Jason Sudeikis was among the spectators at Arsenal's 3-0 Premier League victory over Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, taking in a commanding performance that featured two goals from midfielder Martín Zubimendi.
The actor, 49, was seen animatedly cheering from the stands, wearing a red Arsenal zip-up jacket over a white shirt and navy tie. Photographs from the match show Sudeikis talking with a companion as the Gunners extended their advantage in the contest.
Zubimendi’s brace helped seal the three-goal win for Arsenal, who controlled the match and limited Nottingham Forest's opportunities. The result leaves Arsenal with a clear victory on the day and provided a celebratory atmosphere in the stands for supporters including Sudeikis.
Sudeikis’s appearance at the Emirates comes as production on the fourth season of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso has resumed in the U.K. after initial filming in the United States. The show’s return to West London follows a production start last month in Kansas City, the actor’s hometown, and shooting in familiar Richmond locations including The Prince’s Head pub and Scott’s, a noted local restaurant.
Warner Bros. Television executive Channing Dungey told Variety that the production team was ‘‘back in production’’ and expressed enthusiasm about the new cast additions. Deadline reported that Apple TV’s head of development, Matt Cherniss, said he had ‘‘high hopes for season four of Ted Lasso’’ and that the team was ‘‘so excited that it’s coming back.’’
Sudeikis has previously confirmed aspects of the next season during an appearance on the New Heights podcast hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, saying, "Ted's coaching a women's team, so there, that's it." The fourth season is scheduled to air in summer 2026 and will follow the fictional coach as he helps lead a second-division women’s team, marking a change of direction from the first three seasons that focused on AFC Richmond in the English Premier League.
The returning principal cast includes Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift and Juno Temple, with new additions reported to include Tanya Reynolds and Faye Marsay. Other actors confirmed for season four include Jude Mack, Abbie Hern, Grant Feely, Rex Hayes and Aisling Sharkey.
Co-creator Bill Lawrence has previously said the decision to continue the series ultimately rested with Sudeikis, and studio and production executives have described the resumption of filming as a welcome step after disruptions in the industry. Ted Lasso has been a major awards contender since its 2020 debut, drawing multiple nominations and wins across the Emmys and other industry prizes.
Saturday’s match and Sudeikis’s presence highlighted the continuing crossover between high-profile entertainment figures and top-tier sports events in London, while the actor’s filming schedule underscores the transatlantic nature of the show’s new production plan. Arsenal’s win was the primary sporting development of the day at the Emirates, with Zubimendi’s goals proving decisive on the pitch.
