Jayden Reed Declares ‘Packers to the Bowl’ After Successful Collarbone Surgery
Green Bay receiver had surgery Tuesday, posted an Instagram Live while recovering and is expected to miss 6–8 weeks

Jayden Reed underwent successful surgery on a broken collarbone Tuesday and posted a spirited Instagram Live from the recovery room, declaring the Green Bay Packers were “going all the f–king way.”
The third-year wide receiver, 25, went live on his Instagram page shortly after the procedure, appearing to still be under the effects of medication given for the operation. During the brief broadcast, Reed thanked fans for their prayers and repeatedly urged confidence in the team, saying, "Packers to the Bowl, bruh" and adding, "They can’t f–k with us, bruh." A family member ended the live stream soon afterward.
Reed suffered the injury late in the first quarter of the Packers’ Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders on "Thursday Night Football," when he went up for a catch near the end zone. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said earlier this week that Reed would miss "a lot of time." Team medical personnel have placed the recovery timeline at six to eight weeks, which would place a potential return in November.
Reed emerged last season as a primary target, finishing with a career-high 55 receptions for 857 yards and six touchdowns. Through the first two games of the 2025 season he had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown before the injury.

Green Bay opened the season with consecutive victories over the Detroit Lions and the Commanders. Quarterback Jordan Love has thrown for 480 yards and four touchdowns without an interception in the early going, and the additions on defense — including the arrival of Micah Parsons via trade from Dallas — have drawn notice for how they have integrated into the roster.
The Packers' schedule calls for games against the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys before a Week 5 bye. The club will continue to monitor Reed’s recovery and provide updates as he progresses through postoperative rehabilitation and team evaluations.
Reed’s post-surgery message underscored his optimism about the team’s prospects even as he begins a multi-week recovery. The Packers will balance his timetable for return with on-field needs as the season progresses.
