Josh Allen reveals how he helps Hailee Steinfeld with acting prep

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen says he does not run lines for wife Hailee Steinfeld, though the couple sometimes practices improv together as she prepares for acting roles. Speaking on the Pat McAfee show, he described their arrangement, saying, "I wouldn't say that we run lines. I mean, she reads all of her scripts by herself and she'll give me some updates on them." He added that they will, at times, go off and do some improv, calling Steinfeld "an absolute stud. She's the best."

The couple wed in November 2024 and have been inseparable since, with Allen continuing to support his wife as she pursues roles such as Emily Dickinson on Apple TV. In June 2025, during the Bills' mandatory minicamp, Allen whisked his bride away on a vacation to celebrate their marriage.

Steinfeld was later spotted in a suite at Highmark Stadium, cheering on her husband and embracing Allen's family as the Bills beat the Ravens 41-40. Some observers noted she kept a low profile during the game and would prefer the spotlight remain on the football. While Steinfeld aims to stay out of the camera's glare, partners such as Taylor Swift or others are often seen in the stands.

On the season, Buffalo has started 3-0, with wins over the Ravens, Jets and Dolphins in the early going.
