Kildunne stars as England see off France to reach World Cup final
England beat France 35-17 to reach a seventh consecutive Women's Rugby World Cup final as Ellie Kildunne returns with a two-try comeback.

England reached a seventh consecutive Women's Rugby World Cup final after a 35-17 semi-final win over France. Ellie Kildunne scored twice on her comeback from concussion, helping the Red Roses overcome a stubborn French side.
Kildunne opened the scoring after four minutes and repeatedly pierced the French defense on either side of the break. France led 7-5 at half-time after England errors allowed them to seize possession and territory.
In the second half England tightened, with a driving maul yielding a try for hooker Amy Cokayne, followed by Abbie Ward's short-range score to stretch the lead. Kildunne then seized on Carla Arbez's miscontrol to sprint through for another try to make it 28-12 with just over 10 minutes remaining.
France centre Nassira Konde replied with her second try to narrow the gap, but replacement Meg Jones finished off a late move as Holly Aitchison's kick found her in support. The crowd of 25,478 erupted as Kildunne was named player of the match.
England advance to a seventh consecutive Women's Rugby World Cup final, continuing a proud run for the national team at rugby's showcase event.
