Lando Norris breaks silence on romance with Magui Corceiro

Lando Norris has publicly acknowledged his relationship with Magui Corceiro, ending years of speculation about their on‑off romance. In a full-length feature for British Vogue, the Formula One driver described Corceiro as “special” and said the pair have become more serious “more recently.” The interview also traces the relationship back to a series of high‑profile sightings in 2023 and notes that Corceiro had previously been romantically linked with former Chelsea forward Joao Felix.

The Portuguese model and actress, 22, has built a substantial public profile through social media and a career across television and campaigns. Corceiro has amassed more than two million Instagram followers and over 800,000 TikTok fans, and has appeared in Portuguese TV dramas as well as campaigns for Intimissimi and Alo Yoga. She also co‑founded the eco‑conscious swimwear brand Missus and has appeared in Vogue Portugal. Earlier in her career, she competed on Portugal’s version of Dancing with the Stars in 2020.

Norris and Corceiro’s relationship first drew notice in 2019, when the couple were reported to have begun seeing each other after Corceiro’s breakup with Felix. Public attention intensified in 2023 when footage emerged of Corceiro riding in Norris’s Fiat while in Monaco, along with subsequent sightings at Formula One events cheering Norris from the paddock. By mid‑2024, reports suggested the pair had split, though observers noted ongoing appearances together in public spaces, including race weekends, and occasional passionate moments captured on camera.

In the Vogue feature, Norris said the couple had met “a few years ago,” but emphasized that they were not together in a formal sense until more recently. Asked what is special about Corceiro, he replied: “Everything. She’s someone I can very much be myself with. Very down to earth and she lives quite a crazy life as well. It’s nice when we can both just [rent] a boat for the day or go home together and chill.” He also joked about introducing her to golf, noting that she “hates golf,” and added that he is trying to change that.

The interview also touches on the couple’s public dynamic and the challenges of living under online scrutiny. Norris acknowledged that bad comments can affect anyone, but said Corceiro handles criticism wisely and that, over time, online scrutiny has mattered less to him than it did in the past. He stressed that while he understands concern for her, he remains focused on supporting her and enjoying their time together.

Corceiro, who hails from Santarém, Portugal, has faced her share of online criticism, much of which has been directed at her high‑profile relationship with Norris. Norris said the sustained attention has diminished in impact, reflecting a broader shift in how public figures manage online discourse.

The full interview with Norris appears in the October issue of British Vogue, which is available in digital format and hits newsstands on Tuesday, September 23.
