A shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, Saturday evening left multiple people wounded, and authorities said one suspect was in custody. The Nashua Police Department did not immediately release a full tally of victims, but said the incident prompted a broad response from police and fire personnel. The scene remains under active investigation, and officials stressed there is no further danger to the public. Authorities had initially reported that two armed suspects fled the scene, and that while one was in custody, another remained at large.

In nearby Dunstable, Massachusetts — less than 10 miles from Nashua — officials issued a shelter-in-place order for residents on Thorndike Street, High Street, and Hardy Street. The order was issued out of caution in connection with the Sky Meadow incident and was meant to give responders access to the area. The Sheraton Hotel on Tara Boulevard in Nashua was designated as a unification site for those seeking reunification with loved ones, and authorities urged the public to avoid the Sky Meadow area while the investigation continued.

"This order is being implemented out of caution in connection with an active threat incident at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH," Dunstable Emergency Management said in a statement. "Please remain indoors, lock all doors and windows, do not allow anyone into your home unless you know them personally, stay off the roads in the affected area to allow emergency responders access, and monitor official town communication channels for updates."

The Nashua Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment, and Nashua Fire Rescue declined to comment. This is a breaking news story and updates are expected as investigators review security footage and speak with witnesses. Officials stressed that there is no ongoing danger to the public and that more information would be released as it becomes available.
