Nylon’s NYFW Party Draws Celebs, Scenesters — and the Fire Marshal
Sports — A packed Nylon event at the Classic Car Club in Manhattan saw celebrities and influencers inside while crowds waited outside after a fire marshal intervened

A New York Fashion Week party hosted by Nylon magazine at the Classic Car Club in Manhattan on Saturday drew a mix of celebrities, influencers and scenesters — and prompted a visit from the fire marshal that slowed entry and left some VIPs waiting in line.
Officials at the door moved groups into organized rows as security tried to control the crowd. The delay and the prospect of being turned away led to complaints from those trying to enter, and at least one would-be guest shouted, "The war ended years ago!" after being told he was banned. Rapper Lil Yachty was among those reported to have waited to get in, while other headline attendees entered without issue.
Those admitted to the event were treated to a performance by DJ duo Sofi Tukker. Reported attendees on the guest list included rapper Ice Spice, reality star Paige DeSorbo, actress Storm Reid and "Barbie" actor Ariana Greenblatt. Actor Darren Barnet was seen dancing near a VIP table. Other figures who circulated through the party included Coi Leray, Remy Bond, Jordyn Woods and Bryan Goldberg, the head of Bustle Digital Group, Nylon's parent company.
The magazine's editor in chief, Lauren McCarthy, hosted an intimate dinner earlier in the evening at The Standard, High Line for influencers and guests ahead of the larger party. Food stands were available for guests at the Classic Car Club, which houses a collection of vintage automobiles and served as the venue for the celebration.

Nylon has increased its profile in recent months with a series of high-profile events tied to major cultural gatherings. In December, the magazine hosted a party during Art Basel Miami Beach that featured a performance by Ludacris and drew performers and entertainers including Camila Cabello and Janelle Monáe. Last summer the brand staged a multi-night takeover of Montauk's Surf Lodge over the July Fourth weekend, drawing celebrities to several consecutive nights of festivities.
The NYFW event is the latest in a push by the brand to expand its footprint through live programming and a recently launched membership initiative. Organizers did not immediately release a statement about the fire marshal's appearance or any subsequent changes to capacity or safety procedures.
